Owners Travis and Kamica Montgomery purchased the 200 acre property in 2008 once owned by renowned art deco architect Albert Joseph Love.  Restoring  and repurposing both the homestead and orchard building, Camp Copperhead offers a unique atmosphere. Copperhead organizes yearly events and receives campers throughout all seasons. Copperheads main attraction has been one of Oklahoma's longest running biker rallies, Copperhead Run Rally , also host of Copperhead Off-Road events, Harvest Festivals, BBQ Cook-Offs, Powwows and the Battle of Cabin Creek.
